T.S. Now this wasn't your ordinary Video Shoot. We understand that the Camera that was used was the Sony CineAlta HDW-F900 1080i HDCAM Camera; the same camera that has already been used in many Blockbuster Pictures such as, SUPERMAN RETURNS, MIAMI VICE, SIN CITY, and many others. What did it mean to have this camera and shoot video in HD?
GELIZ Well it felt good. I used to do video production in school so I knew a little about video & film. We didn't want to do film, so I researched the type of cameras we can use, you guys got it, and it felt good to shoot our video with the same camera that Superman Returns, Once Upon a Time in Mexico were shot on.
T.S. What was the first day like and if their were problems, how did you and the people strive to make everything better?
GELIZ The first day was hectic and we were trying to get everything together. Some were helping us, some weren't, but everything went through and we all got it done?
T.S. How was the other shoot days? We're they as hectic as the first one?
GELIZ The other shoot days went by smooth. It was like butter. We did a few takes, even more takes. Everything went good!
T.S. What would you say was the most unique scene out of the video, if you can name one?
GELIZ The One with Jon (Jon Pierce from DA' Block-www.dablocktvshow.com), explaining to us the idea for the video.
JAZEL The shot where we're walking to the door. That was a beautiful shot.
T.S. Compared to you other videos, where would this video rank among them?
GELIZ Quality Wise It's the best one we did! Script-wise, it was an 8, cause we never did a mini-movie like this.
T.S. If you can go back to the days of the shoot, what was the most memorable moment out of all the days of the shoot?
GELIZ When we kept F****** up our lines and doing stupid stuff. |
